Simos Sideris

Simos Sideris joined the NEO Lab in October 2018 as a Ph.D Candidate. He received his 5-year Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2017. His Diploma Thesis was under the supervision of Prof. Traianos Yioultsis, where he studied the novel CSRR - loaded Substrate Integrated Waveguide and designed resonant slot antennas for Radar Use. Before NEO Lab, Simos worked at Fieldscale as a Computational Electromagnetics Engineer. At the NEO Lab Simos studies THz generation from nonlinear metamaterials. ​
