Elazar Elias

Elazar joined the NEO lab in June 2019 as a research assistant, working on the fabrication of thin membranes on which metasurfaces were to be placed. He received his B.Sc. degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Physics from Tel Aviv University in 2020, with his EE project consisting of writing simulations of quasi-phase-matching crystals for SHG processes, under the supervision of Prof. Haim Suchowski. Elazar started his M.Sc. in Physics in October 2020, and at the NEO lab he studies the manifestations of geometric phase in nonlinear generation processes of THz radiation in metallic nanostructures.
